Managing Cancer Pain at End of Life

Dr Akshay Kulkarni is a physician in General and Acute
medicine and palliative medicine. He holds a Fellowship to the
Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Australasian
Chapter of Palliative Medicine (FRACP, FAChPM).
He works across multiple sites in Melbourne with appointments
at Alfred Health, Peninsula Home Hospice and Cabrini Health. His
areas of interest include integration of hospital and community
palliative care services. He works to collaborate with General
Practitioners with education programs through the GP Special
Interest Group (GP SIG) with Peninsula Home Hospice.
His other interest includes improving communication skills in
junior doctors across various platforms within Alfred Health. He
is a RACP accredited supervisor for Advanced Training in
Palliative Medicine.
