Western Victoria PHN – Palliative Care Breakfast Meetings

Are you Interested in Palliative Care?

Starting in February, a face-to-face breakfast meeting will be held the first Tuesday of every month (there is also an online option available).

It will be held at The Wharf Shed, 15 Eastern Beach Rd, Geelong between 8am and 9am.

The meeting includes a combination of the following:

• a presentation on a Palliative Care associated topic or case study by members or outside organisations.
• a book/ podcast review or patient-to-remember case study
• and a WVPHN update on education or useful information.

The meeting is very engaging and informal with plenty of discussion and participation, and is suitable for GPs, nurses, Palliative Care staff in hospitals or other services, allied health professionals who have an interest in Palliative care.

Members of the group are also major contributors to the running of Annual Palliative Care Forum held in October each year.
