Esther McMillan-Drendel, Nurse Manager from the Victorian Palliative Care Advice Service (PCAS), will talk about PCAS, what it offers and how it works with the new aged care standards.
Esther is a registered nurse and healthcare leader with a broad experience in palliative care, intensive care, community health, and forensic medicine. She has worked across Australia in hospital, community, and statewide services. Holding a Master’s in Leadership and Management, Esther focuses on sustainable, innovative change in healthcare. In 2020, she established the Victorian Palliative Care Advice Service, improving access to specialist care and driving equity through innovation across the
healthcare system.
