The Barwon South Western and Grampians region palliative care consortiums invite all Victorians to “Show your Heart” for palliative care.
Communities across Victoria will come together this May to recognise the importance of compassionate end-of-life care during National Palliative Care Week (10–16 May).
Orange hearts will appear in hospitals, community spaces and homes as a symbol of care, compassion and appreciation for the people who provide palliative care every day.
Orange heart displays can be as simple or as elaborate as individuals desire. So get creative!
Staff, volunteers and community members are encouraged to take part by creating their own orange heart display and sharing photos to help raise awareness. You can buy an orange heart 10 pack for your display here
